In 2014, organizations throughout the area will band together to celebrate the region's sculpture and we want you to participate. Sculpture City Saint Louis will provide platforms for organizations to promote their sculpture-focused exhibitions, events, and resources, and will develop forums for dialogue about the place of sculpture in our civic and individual lives.
Throughout 2014, this site will be a source of information about sculpture collections and activities in the St. Louis region. Please stay tuned to learn more about how you can be a part of Sculpture City and get your sculpture exhibition, event or resource listed.

MONUMENT/ANTI-MONUMENT
JOIN FOR THE CONFERENCE - APRIL 10-12, 2014Monument / Anti-Monument is an international conference that will bring together artists, art historians, curators, academics, architects, urban planners, designers, archaeologists and other experts to explore contemporary thinking about the intersection of sculpture and public space. St. Louis is a microcosm of the movements and counter-movements in the global art world, manifested in its sculptural monuments both large and small. With St. Louis as the setting and jumping-off point for discussion, regional, national and international experts will explore historic and contemporary forms of sculpture, how art reveals cultural identity, the impact of urban planning on monumentation and the politics of public space, among others topics.
We are now accepting proposals for the
