The AIA Middle East is a chapter of the American Institute of Architects. It was founded in September 2010 by US trained and accredited architects from the United States working in the Middle East.
Following various initiatives and events for the Architecture Industry which have seen the Middle East become the second-largest of the AIA's 5 international chapters, the AIA Middle East is now introducing its Annual Conference marking its third year of formation. Taking place in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, the historic event will feature architectural presentations and debates, as well as a full day program of guided tours to outstanding landmark projects of architectural grandeur in the UAE. The Annual Conference also introduces the AIA Middle East Awards Program, to honor works of excellence in architecture by its members and to bring outstanding examples of architecture to public attention.
This year's annual AIA Middle East conference will take place November 20th through the 22nd at The Address Hotel, Dubai Mall.
