Edinburgh Architecture Research (EAR) journal invites research papers for the 34th edition titled: Architectural Education – Educational Architecture.

Deadlines:

Abstract submission: 28th November 2014
Notification of selected abstract: 19th December 2014
Full paper submission: 30th January 2015


The theme encompasses all topics in the field of LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE as well as ARCHITECTURE and DESIGN, that present research findings on educational environments and education of landscape architecture and architecture topics.
Accordingly, suitable topics for the 34th edition include but are not limited to:

 Architectural Education
  The education of Landscape Architecture, Architecture and Design
  Professional Practices in Architecture and Landscape Architecture
  Methods and Practices of educating Architects and Landscape Architecture
  Gender roles in Architectural Education and Practice
  Children and Architectural Education

 Educational Architecture
   Architecture and Landscape of  Educational Environments
   The Influence of Environmental Design on Education
   The Architecture and Landscape of Schools
   Interior Design in Educational Spaces

EAR is a peer reviewed academic journal published periodically (online and print) by the research students of Edinburgh School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture (ESALA), University of Edinburgh. For the 34th edition, we welcome original papers that have not been previously published nor are under consideration for publication elsewhere.

 How to Submit
Authors are invited to submit abstracts, in English, of 300 words or less, to the EAR editor, by email to ear-editor@caad.ed.ac.uk. Submitted abstracts should have no abbreviations or references that are undefined or specified. Authors of selected abstracts will be invited to submit a full paper for review and subsequent publication to the journal's guidelines.
